Forged Solutions Group, providers of high integrity forgings for the world's most demanding applications, celebrate a 3-year extension to its contract with Caterpillar Vehicles.
As the previous contract with Caterpillar came towards its expiration, Jon Winter (Commercial Director) and Mark Parramore (Sales Director) worked collaboratively to extend this multi-year agreement. Throughout the negotiations, our technological leadership in advanced monolithic extrusions at Forged Solutions Group's Meadowhall Operations and our 25-plus years of partnership with Caterpillar helped bring this to fruition.
"The contract extension further refines our portfolio of products we produce for Caterpillar with a better alignment to our manufacturing capabilities and also now provides the opportunity to grow future revenues through new products or increased market shares on the existing product range", commented Ben McIvor (President).
The products manufactured by Forged Solutions Group supply Caterpillar with stability, strength and manoeuvrability for its largest off-highway construction and mining trucks. Additionally, we supply components used in the suspension and tractor tread systems for other Caterpillar off-highway vehicles, including bulldozers and articulated dump trucks.
